About

My name is Dr. Ammie Chapman, and I am so happy you’re here! I am a mom, wife, and doctor of chiropractic. At my wholistic practice, I do so much more than just adjustments. I am concerned with my patients’ whole body health. I am passionate about using food as medicine and working with the body to treat illness. As I’ve struggled with my own medical conditions, I’ve had far greater success with the wholistic approach than traditional medicine.

My personal journey took me through the gamut of providers pushing “quick fix” medications that didn’t work or had terrible side effects. I often left appointments feeling written off or hopeless because there didn’t seem to be any solution to my struggles. It wasn’t until I got really proactive in my care and started healing my body from the inside out that I finally began to improve.

I’ve created 406Gratitude to share all that I’ve learned along the way. Inspired by one of my favorite authors and all-around inspirational gurus, Brené Brown, this blog is my way of jumping into the “arena,” stretching beyond my comfort zone to share my story with the hope that I might help others to achieve optimal health.

In this blog you’ll find great health and wellness tips, recipes, chiropractic and wholistic medical advice from an expert, and (gulp!) some vulnerable posts about my personal health journey. As a 6th generation Montanan, I may throw in a little bit of Big Sky country now and then as well. I’m so thankful for my family and so blessed to live in the wide open spaces of the West!

I am excited you’ve found me! Feel free to browse around and reach out! I’d love to hear from you.
